GERMAN GOVERNMENT LOAN 1899 Promisary Certificate for loan of 1,000 Marks at three percent to the German Government sold to subscriber in Britain. 212 mm x 300 mm (12" x approx 8½") beautifully engraved and printed in brown and red on white paper bearing five shilling GB duty stamp. Nineteen of twenty coupons for interest redemption scheduled bi-annually from 1919 to 1929.
